Attire
A dress code allows teachers to see body placement, to keep uniformity in class and to allow freedom of movement. If one dresses the part… one dances the part. Students should take all valuables with them to class.
Girls
- Any Style or Color Leotard, tights, jazz pants or dance shorts, form fitting dance shirts, ballet skirts. Dance sweaters or sweatshirts may be worn during the winter
- Hair needs to be pulled up and back neatly. No Jewelry
Boys
- A form fitting tee-shirt and black dance pants or shorts
Ballet
- Black leotard and pink tights
- Hair in a bun
Hip Hop
- Looser clothes such as sweat pants, shirts or shorts. No jeans
- Your own clean indoor sneakers from home until the teacher picks a performance shoe.
Acro
- Any color leotard
- Bare foot
Competition Classes Attire
- Dancers must wear all black dance attire and nude tights.
- Hair needs to be pulled up and back neatly.
Shoes
For your convenience, if shoes fit from last year wear them until you need to get the required shoe. Students should write their name on the inside of all their shoes. We are not responsible for lost items.
